Family Counselling Centre (FCC) – Neb Sarai

We have been running Family Counseling Centre programme with the support of Central Social Welfare Board since April 2008. The goal of the program is to help the women suffering from the issues related to domestic violence, dowry demand, sexual harassment, maintenance, desertion, custody of children, seeking divorce and other family disputes. The programme covers more than 120000 people (20000 households) in Neb Sarai. We are open to hear the case from any family from the work area.

Family Counselling Centre (FCC) – Shastri Park, Delhi

Opened by the Ministry of Women and Child Development
Monitored by the Department of Women and Child Development (DWCD)

Nav Srishti is proud to operate its second Family Counseling Centre (FCC) at Shastri Park, Delhi, specifically serving the families of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). This center was opened by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, and is monitored by the Department of Women and Child Development (DWCD). The center has been operational since 24th February 2020, with space provided by CISF.

A team of two qualified professional counselors leads the initiative, offering psychological, legal, and social support to individuals and families in crisis—particularly women.

We are heartened to witness more women breaking their silence and stepping forward to seek justice and support. With the guidance of our counselors, many have filed complaints, confronted injustice, and begun their journey toward healing.

The FCC provides a safe and supportive space for couples and families to resolve disputes amicably, avoiding police stations and courtrooms wherever possible. This preventive and restorative approach has helped reduce conflict and build stronger family relationships.

The center also supports women living alone within the CISF campus, including CISF personnel. Any woman facing challenges within the scope of family counseling is offered assistance under this initiative.

Over time, we have seen growing trust and participation. Women have found the center to be a vital resource for resolving issues and rebuilding their lives. The initiative has contributed to reducing violence against women and promoting a peaceful, just, and secure environment for all.

Goal of the Project

To support women facing issues such as:

Domestic Violence
Dowry Harassment
Sexual Harassment
Emotional and Mental Trauma
Marital Disputes and Divorce
Custody of Children
Financial Neglect or Maintenance Issues
Desertion by a spouse or live-in partner
Other family-related conflicts

Through this initiative, Nav Srishti remains committed to ensuring justice, dignity, and support for women and families, in collaboration with CISF and government authorities.
