Dropouts are a major challenge in young girls especially in the higher classes. Number of girls dropping out in classes VIth and Xth. Once out of the formal education system, they lose track of current learning practices and eventually fall off the mainstream and find it difficult to return back to the ambit of formal education and potential growth opportunities. The optimum use of technology solutions, open up a new realm of possibilities for young girls to access learning opportunities while sitting within their communities. To make use of current and new technologies including Information and Communications Technology (ICTs), and draw on Communications for Development (C4D) approaches and policy-based advocacy as important methods for creating real change.

 Established of 16 networked dynamic learning centres as knowledge hubs for girls in different parts of the Delhi with support of the Plan India, out of these 16 centres, 5 centres were run by the Nav Srishti in Holambi kalan, In these centres’ education support for 8th to 10th class girls for math, English and science. Orientation session on personality development, Human rights & gender and Adolescent Reproductive sexual health. From  these centre 5000 adolescent girls get benefited.

Digital Learning Centres work to:

Address challenges posed by unequal lives, education and employment opportunities
Support continued higher education through tutoring and career counselling
Impart leadership skills and personality development to strengthen their self-esteem
