During last Depawali due to cracker blast there was a devastated fire on a hutment where 12 families used to live. The hutments were made of plastic sheets and cardboards, so the fire engulfed at a time giving no chance to douse the fire, the gas cylinders used by dwellers also bursted making life more dangerous in the mean time a auto driver was also caught in the fire and injured himself.

On learning the incident members of Nav Srishti team residing nearby immediately jumped to rescue the sufferers and the auto driver was shifted to Safdarjung hospital,

From next day onwards Nav Srishti staff went door to door to collect necessities. We provided Ration clothes, blankets, shoes and utensils, until they were in position to cook. We supply them three times prepared food to adults and milk, biscuits, bread supplied to the children. Copy & pencils and books were also provided to the school going children by the school on our request to the principle.

We also provided sanitary napkins with support of personal donor Mrs. Indu Sood. And also provided 12 kits for each family with bedding, towels, cloth, utensils and kitchen ware and also small given new T- shirt and toys brining joy in this time of adversity by the” Inner wheel club mid west “.

Dry ration was provided by a personal donor a businessman Mr. Avinash and Mr. Veer Singh.

Now they are settled and happily living in same hutment and they are showing their gratitude to Nav Srishti.
