Our Programme
Mahila Panchayat
Nav Srishti is supporting the Delhi Commission for Women in running its “Mahila Panchayat” programme in an innovative approach of collective community participation and dispute resolving mechanism. The women from vulnerable communities where maximum number of violence against women has been reported are identified and motivated to join the Panchayat as members. Ther are being provided trainings on legal issues, dispute resolution, issues and laws related to crime against women, property rights, maintenance, marriage, child custody, counselling, registration f FIR, pursuing with police, etc. Nav Srishti is running 3 Mahila Panchayats in Nangloi, Holambi Kalan and Bharola.
