Girls are dropouts because of their parent’s insensitivity and unawareness towards girls’ education and because of existing gender discrimination among the families. We have learnt that the girls can be brought back to the mainstream education through proper facilitation of awareness sessions with the families and the communities.

We have worked to support these girls in restarting their education and develop their skills so that they can lead to a dignified life. To achieve this goal we have conducted remedial classes, Bridge classes, parlour classes, computer classes, stitching classes, libraries and etc. Besides we have helped them in enrolling with National Institute of Open School (NIOS).

Libraries

Libraries have played an important role in developing perspective on many issues and also helped the girls in improving their performance at their study. Total 2832 girls have been benefitted so far. .

If the girls are given proper platform, they have all the capabilities to get success and become empowered. So far we could able to bring the girls back in our project locations who were school dropouts. These girls have become a role model for others and many parents coming forward to support their dropout daughter for further education. We think we would able to do it something better showing these programs achievement to other community and help the girls who are behind the pace of education.
