Back to School 

Education is a game changer that transforms lives, especially for children coming from underprivileged communities. It is a mean to break free from the cycle of poverty and vulnerability they are born in.

Nav Srishti’s Back to School project is specifically dedicated for such children to give them the equal opportunity to be back into the mainstream education system. These children are from the most marginalised communities in Delhi, of migrant workers and informal labourers in slum areas of Neb Sarai, Faridabad and Nangloi. Our focus is especially on empowering adolescent girls in the same community, as they face a more challenging struggle to access the same opportunities, having to overcome additional gender based hurdles.

Imparting education through remedial classes and engaging extracurricular activities, we make sure that the children are able to complete their formal education and also learn skills and capabilities for a dignified life ahead.
