International Women Peace Group

Since 2016, Nav Srishti has been a member of the International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG), which is committed to strengthening initiatives that promote peace across the world. Although it may seem like a small beginning, we are determined to do our best until peace is realized in India and around the globe. In collaboration with the IWPG team, we have conducted meetings with community women and youth to disseminate the objectives of IWPG. We believe that even our small contribution can help reduce violence in society. 

Fourth Annual Commemoration of the WAR Summit
The 4th Annual Commemoration of the War Summit was held from 17–19 September 2018 in Incheon, South Korea. The event saw the participation of many world leaders, former prime ministers, governors, educationists, religious representatives, business leaders, and civil society organizations who raised their voices for the implementation of the Declaration on Peace and Cessation of War.

On behalf of Nav Srishti, Ms. Reena Banerjee participated in the commemoration. Nav Srishti has been affiliated with IWPG since 2016. The annual event aimed to realize peace and end war globally. It was co-hosted by IWPG and HWPL, with one of the key themes being “Promoting International Cooperation for the Peaceful Reunification of the Korean Peninsula.” Representatives from various countries shared their perspectives on the issue.

IWPG Campaign – New Delhi, India (2019)
In 2019, IWPG organized a global 10 Million Signature Campaign for two weeks to appeal to governments worldwide to adopt a Peace, Not War stance.
Nav Srishti actively participated in the campaign and successfully mobilized over 2,000 signatures from Delhi, which were submitted to IWPG.
