On June 5, 2025, Nav Srishti, in collaboration with Child Rights and You, organized World Environment Day celebrations at four key locations across Delhi-NCR — Neb Sarai (Delhi), Nangloi (Delhi), Santosh Nagar, and Rajeev Nagar (Faridabad).
The objective of the event was to raise awareness and promote actions toward a better environment. The organization conducted rallies in communities and markets with the participation of children and women, and organized awareness programs especially at Neb Sarai and Nangloi.
Mrs. Reena Banerjee, Secretary of Nav Srishti, addressed the participants and emphasized the following key points:
- Say no to plastic — boycott the use of plastic.
- Use jute and cloth bags instead of plastic.
- Avoid consumption of food items packed in plastic.
- Plant as many trees as possible.
