Freshwater Action Network South Asia

Freshwater Action Network South Asia (FANSA) is a vibrant network of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) working in the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) sector across eight South Asian countries—Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Established in 2008, FANSA aims to strengthen the voice and engagement of CSOs in regional, national, and international policy advocacy spaces to ensure safe, equitable, affordable, and inclusive WASH services for all—especially for poor, vulnerable, and unreached communities.

In India, FANSA has a presence in 17 states through state-level networks. Nav Srishti is an active member of the Delhi FANSA network, which comprises 15 CSO partners from across the capital.
